Georgia at Georgia Pellegrini.com was blown away by a simple discovery at a recent soiree. After taking a second look at the table centerpieces that were up for grabs, Georgia realized they were made from one of her favorite kitchen items – mason jars!
The jars were glammed up with metallic spray paint and then filled with an assortment of lovely flowers. Simple, yet very beautiful. Georgia points out that the design possibilities are pretty much endless and the cost is cheap. Just think of how often people give away and throw away mason jars. They can even be found on Freecycle and Craigslist for next to nothing.

I love Mason jars as vases, I use them all the time, but it never occurred to me to paint them! What a great idea!
