The digital age of photography marked the end of the once popular Kodachrome slides. However, that doesn’t mean you don’t have a stash sitting around somewhere from the good ol’ days. Jacki from Yarn Zombie had purchased some slides with the intent of repurposing them.
Jacki attached the slides together with chainmail rings to create a curtain for her front door. The effect of the sunlight playing off the images is pretty cool. Jacki points out that while the sunlight could definitely damage the photos, it’s better than having them cooped up in a box never to be seen.
