Ashley from The Latest Find shares a great upcycle project for large glass jars. So if you don’t already have a stash, you’d better start eating some pickles, spaghetti sauce, and mayo (not together, of course)!
Ashley poured some leftover blue paint into her pickle jar, swirled it around to coat all the glass, and allowed it to dry upside down on a cup. A little twine, and she’s got a nice little (and FREE) spot to display some of the beautiful blooms springing up all around!

Adorable! I love to reuse my glass jars, but the pickle ones ALWAYS smell like pickles. This is such a cute alternative.
Who woulda thought!!! Thats beautiful!!
I LOVE this idea! It’s too easy!
What a great idea! And I love the twine that she wrapped around the top to finish it.
Such a great idea! I wonder how it would turn out if you swirled 2 (or more) colors together in the jar? I’ll have to find out
I can see this being just perfect for Mason Jars too. Such a simple idea, yet so sweet. As always, THANK YOU for providing this blog. It is at the top of my favorites. -K
I love this, but if the paint is on the inside, won’t it chip or start to wear if you put water in it for the flowers??
