Painted Wood Art

I know we all love some DIY art. According to Make & Do Girl Jess, “If you can smear paint on wood and use scissors, you can make this easy art.” Sound like your kind of project? Jess used cheap wood frames and coffee stirrers to make it happen.

Jess painted her stirrers with craft paint and used her own technique to give them that lovely weathered look. She then glued the sticks into the frames and hung ‘em up for all to admire. You could definitely make this on a larger scale with some scrap wood.
