Stacy of Re-Creations Project is the queen of upcycling and has created a social group for individuals with learning disabilities that allows them to explore their creative sides while also helping the environment. For this particular projects, Stacy’s group turned a pile of candy wrappers and glass jars into “stained glass” lanterns.
The “stained glass” look is created by placing stickers on the jars in whatever design suits your fancy, spray painting the jars, removing the stickers, and then using Mod Podge to apply the translucent candy wrappers. I love this rainbow jar and bet it would look beautiful with a flameless candle glowing inside.
