Megan’s grandmother had these pieces of wood in her garage leftover from where she had a tree cut down. Megan, who blogs at Megan Brooke Handmade, was pretty sure she could turn them into something fabulous. So, with Grandma’s permission, she took a few home.
At home, Megan used chalkboard spray paint to turn these pieces of wood into a neat wayto decorate a wall. The organic shapes combined with the lettering on the chalkboard surfaces makes this arrangement visually very interesting.
This is a great example of mixing old and new. Check out Megan’s tutorial at Megan Brooke Designs.

This is really neat.
Thanks for the feature Beckie!
You are welcome! You did a great job on these.
