Chelsea blogs at Making Home Base, and she has the cutest baby girl! Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Chelsea figured out how to upcycle an old sweater into a cozy accessory for baby.
She started with an old, cable knit sweater that wasn’t getting any use in her closet. By cutting and sewing just a single seam for each, Chelsea was able to make a pair of leg warmers. She stitched a felt heart onto each knee for additional “awwww” effect. Aren’t they adorable?

I like the idea of turning an old jumper into baby leg warmers, for winter! The heart-patches added onto the knee area is really effective (will stop bub from hurting the knees & wearing holes when crawling), in a practical way as well as a visual way! Nicely done&good save!
