“I don’t know about you, but I find it hard to be creative when my office is a mess,” confesses Marisa of Marisa Howard Design. “I’ve found that I like small containers that I can have quick access to. These small tin cans that would have normally gone into the recycling box, work perfectly as craft containers.”
Marisa upcycled several items to create these pretty craft organziers. She covered the outside of the tin cans with wallpaper samples. Marisa offers this helpful hint for safely transforming cans into storage: “I wrapped the top and bottom with a strip of white duct tape. This created a smooth top as well as a clean white border.” Great idea! I love the faux bois look of these containers-they honestly look like something that Marisa spent a lot of money on, instead of just a little time.
