Over at The OhOh Blog, Ama has an incredibly creative upcycling project to share. She turned lids from old perfume bottles into pretty coat hooks!
The key to this project was making sure that there was a way to attach the new coat hooks to the wall. Ama’s solution to this problem was to cut corks to fit inside the hollow part of the lids. The corks made it possible to hold a screw that attached the lid to the wall. Brilliant! ” I used silver geometric caps, so it gives a quite modern result, but it should look very nice with colorful or crazy shaped caps,” Ama notes.
