At 5 Little Chefs, Jenny needed a quick and easy craft for her kids to make. Together, they came up with the idea of upcycling plastic lids into little sailboats.
With the lids serving ast the boat, Jenny and her helpers used craft sticks to form the mast and cute, patterned washi tap to make the sails. In need of some water for sailing their sturdy vessels, they made a channel down the driveway using a roll of dollar store aluminum foil. Rolled out, with the edges turned up, and filled with water, it was the perfect place to set sail. What I great way to spend the afternoon crafting and playing outdoors with the kids!
