Carolyn of Homework recently created some darling little party favors out of one of the most humble recyclables known to man: the empty toilet paper roll.
The inspiration for this project was some pretty paper flowers that Carolyn discovered at her local dollar store. She envisioned using the flowers to top a party favor. Carolyn cut cardboard tubes into 2 inch lengths and used decorative paper to turn the tubes into small containers that could be filled with mints or other small treats. Topped with a paper flower and ribbon, these party favors are delightful! You’d never guess they started out as one of a household’s most frequently tossed items!
