Closet Door to Craft Room Storage

“On garbage day last week, I drove past a house with a mound of stuff set out at the road,” tells Amy Jo at The Little Moments. “I took a few minutes to check out the ‘trash’. There were three TV’s, a particle board entertainment center, two wooden closet doors and a king size headboard.”

Out of the things Amy Jo collected, the first to be transformed was-believe it or not-one of the closet doors. She painted the door a pretty shade of blue. Some cork covered up the hole left from the doorknob. In her basement, Amy Jo found a shelf, some hooks, and buckets that she could attach to the door to create storage. What she produced was a handy storage and display center for her craft room. “I can visually store some of the tools I use most frequently in my studio,” Amy Jo says.
