Whaaaaat? Pant hems and sunglasses? It’s possible, thanks to this tutorial by Diane at Vintage Zest. She put some former hemlines to use by making them into a sunglasses sleeve!
When Diane hemmed a pair of pants for her mom, she was left with several inches of fabric from each pant leg that had a semi-finished seam on one side. Instead of trashing the former hemlines, she sewed them together to fashion a pouch for carrying sunglasses. “It did use some scraps, is functional and is definitely a fabric that my mom liked!” Diane notes.
