Over at Doodle Craft, Natalie had some old soda pop bottles hanging around the house. Instead of throwing them away, she found a clever way to recycle them into a back-to-school statement.
Natalie started by washing out two same-size bottles, then cut them off a few inches above the bottom. Then she grabbed a colored zipper and cut it to match the bottle’s circumference. Natalie then used hot glue and a bit of felt to secure the zipper to the cut sides of both bottle bottoms. And…it’s a pencil case! Such a cute and functional back-to-school necessity.

What a fun idea!
