“My Missy had ripped a hole in one of the knees of her denim colored leggings,” Jamie tells us at Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom. “Rather than toss them out, why not add a little heart applique to patch the rip?” A perfect refashion for this time of year!
To make these cute heart patches, Jamie cut heart shapes from pink, sparkly felt. She used fusible adhesive fabric on the back of the hearts to attach them to the jeggings with heat. For an extra dose of cute, Jamie stitched around the inside edges of each heart with red embroidery floss. What an adorable fix!
