Last summer I featured a file cabinet makeover from Little House of Four’s Katie. It’s been less than a year and busy bee Katie has already made it over again, this time channeling the look of “an eight drawer specimen cabinet.” You’ve got to see this one to believe it!
Katie raves about the balsa wood she used to create this drawer look: “It’s incredibly light weight, easy to use and perfect for craft and DIY projects, especially if you don’t own a saw.” She cut, sanded, and stained each piece. Katie spray painted wooden button caps, then glued them into place on the planks. The last step was installing the inexpensive (and classy-looking) cap pulls in the center of each plank. Impressive, right? Let’s hope this fabulous new look sticks around!
