Hair Clips Get a Retro Fabric Makeover

Courtney is one of the three fabulous sisters you’ll meet at Fry Sauce and Grits. When her two-year-old daughter finally got fed up with Mom borrowing her hair clips, Courtney took it as a sign to dig into her fabric scrap bag and create some great new fabric-covered hair clips for herself!

Courtney cut out a rectangle of felt and fabric for each clip, then cut a small slit in the felt and inserted the clip. She placed the fabric on top of the felt, secured it with pins, and sewed a “simple stitch around the perimeter of the hair clip. Aaaaaand, done! These would make such a great project and a great gift.
