A Tic Tac Toe Board that Rocks

Taryn (of Design, Dining, and Diapers) is in the Pacific Northwest and now that winter is over she’s ready to “spend every second outside!” (I know the feeling!) She used a piece of scrap wood and some stones from her back yard to create an outdoor tic tac toe game that’s “inexpensive and provides great entertainment for all ages.” At Tater Tots & Jello she’s showing us how she did it.

Taryn stained her wood, then used a stencil to create the design on the board. She found five smooth rocks in her back yard, painted on the “X”s and “O”s, then added a sealant to both the rocks and the wood. Taryn secured a bowl to the board to keep her rocks in. That’s it! Done! Taryn plans to “keep it in the backyard for BBQ’s, bring it camping or simply play a game with the kiddos.”
