At Fynes Designs, Virginia was inspired by the hues of summer to refinish this rescued furniture. Most of these pieces came straight from the trash. Although they didn’t look pretty when she found them, they were actually sturdy and there was nothing wrong with their construction.
“A fresh coat of beautiful paint can go a long way to breathe life back into what was thought to be garbage,” Virginia notes. After filling in a few holes and making minor repairs, these pieces were ready for some paint. Virginia let her favorite sun-washed hues of summer be her guide: sky blue, lemonade yellow, and strawberry ice cream pink. Don’t you love the two-tone look she gave this little table?
