At Prodigal Pieces, Larissa scored some weather shipping pallets for free, thanks to Craigslist. She decided to use some of her pallet wood to make some shutters for one of her windows. When Kelsey’s parents sold their rural property and moved across the country, they took several pieces of wood with them from the old barn that had stood on their acreage. Years later, Kelsey’s mom asked her to help turn on of those pieces of wood into something special, which she shared at Poofy Cheeks.
Over at Little House of Four, Katie wanted to build her own workbench for the garage. Since her husband comes across used wood pallets often in his work, pallets seemed to be the quickest and cheapest option for building the bench.

But when she went back to the site with her paints, the barn was gone! Unfortunately for Okasana’s painting, the barn had been bulldozed.
