Trash to Treasure projects
Christy received this pineapple lamp with a challenge from a friend: give it a makeover. At Confessions of a Serial DIYer, she says, “This was kind of cute as is, but the lighting was super dull and I have no need for a tiny lamp.” So she cut the cord off and waited a few days for inspiration to strike.
Jenna of Rain on a Tin Roof decided it was finally time to do something with the garage sale lamp that had been sitting around for over a year. It reminded her of the old TV show “I Dream of Jeannie,” but it was going to take more than just folding her arms and blinking to update this old piece. Armed with her own brand of magic and some great paint colors, Jenna worked a masterful transformation! (See what I did there?)
